Everything you’ve heard about NOS Mullard tubes made in the Blackburn factory is true. They are without a doubt the finest preamp tubes I’ve ever heard. Powerful, amazing 3D and soundstage, liquid sounds that are so smooth and yet detailed. Nothing harsh here whatsoever. I’ve been through dozens of different 12AX7 tubes, NOS and NP, but these Mullards are as good as it gets.
